NEWS FROM THE LEGISLATURE

There is a new bill in the New York State Assembly seeking to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in New York. Your input is requested.  Please provide us your comments via email (mailto:nyscouncilpg@gmail.com) as the NYSCPG prepares its professional opinion on whether to approve or reject this proposed legislation.

It would be very helpful if one or more geologists could testify at these hearings to provide first-hand knowledge of the effects of climate change. Please contact us if you are interested.
