HMPGA & NE-AIPG Student Expo & Professional/ Career Networking

HMPGA, in collaboration with NEAIPG, is hosting the

6th Annual Student Poster Exposition and

Professional/Career Networking Event!

This is an opportunity for undergraduate, graduate, and post-doc students in
geoscience or related fields to present their research to their peers and
professionals at an open poster session during HMPGA’s monthly meeting, in
conjunction with NE-AIPG’s Spring Meeting. Topics of research presented
should relate to geophysics, hydrogeology, geochemistry, or other geology or
earth & environmental science related sub-fields. Posters from previous

presentations with GSA, AGU, etc. are welcome and encouraged!


This meeting is intended to bring together professional geologists and students
in the geosciences, and has historically been well-attended by geologists,

engineers, and scientists from academic, government, and consulting sectors. Students should make sure a bring copy of their résumés!

Following the dinner, an evening talk will be presented on a topic of professional geology or related subject matter. There will be an afternoon field trip to the Holcim Ravena Cement Plant, stay tuned for details, visit

Poster Session Registration:

Current students and recent graduates of winter 2023/2024 are encouraged to

present at this open poster session, but all students are welcome!
